Common Reasons Customers Book

Is a drone roof survey right for you?

A quick, convenient way to see the visible condition of your roof — useful before deciding whether a roofer, insurer or specialist needs to be involved.

Storm damage checks

After high winds or heavy weather, get a fast visual look at areas that may need closer attention.

Routine maintenance planning

A periodic visual record of roof condition to help you plan maintenance conversations and next steps.

Pre-purchase concerns

Considering a property? Get a clear first look at roof condition alongside your other pre-purchase checks.

Landlord & rental inspections

Document roof condition between tenancies, for compliance records, or in response to a tenant report.

Insurance-related first look

A visual record to support a conversation with your insurer — not a replacement for a formal claim assessment.

Support for roofing contractors

Fast, access-free imagery to support your own quoting or investigation process without booking scaffolding upfront.

Why Use A Drone Roof Survey

A better first look, without the cost of access equipment

  • 01
No scaffolding, for many first-look cases
Most residential roofs can be surveyed safely from the ground, saving time and cost.
  • 02
    Safer than a ladder inspection
No one needs to climb onto your roof for an initial visual check.
  • 03
    Clear imagery of hard-to-see areas
Valleys, chimney stacks and rear slopes are photographed in the same detail as the front elevation.
  • 04
    Usually completed same-day
On-site survey time is typically 15–30 minutes for a standard residential property.
  • 05
    Significant savings against traditional methods
No scaffold hire or specialist access equipment, so more of your budget goes toward any repairs actually needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Good to know before you book

Is this the same as a structural survey?
No. This is a visual drone roof survey designed to provide clear imagery of the visible condition of the roof and associated external features. It is not a structural survey, building survey, engineer's report or assessment of areas that cannot be visually observed.
What is the Flexi Day Roof Survey?
Flexi Day is our best-value option. You choose the survey date and we choose the most efficient time to visit during that day, based on our route, weather conditions and other local bookings. The launch price is £99, reduced from the standard £149.
What is the Priority Time Slot?
Priority Time Slot lets you reserve a specific appointment window. It is ideal if you need to be present, arrange access, coordinate with a roofer or contractor, or want greater certainty over arrival time. The launch price is £149, reduced from the standard £199.
Do I need to wait at home?
For Flexi Day bookings, you usually do not need to wait at home provided we can safely access the required external areas of the property. If access needs to be arranged, a Priority Time Slot may be the better option.
What do I receive after the visit?
You receive high-resolution roof photographs, key elevations and top-down imagery, a short video fly-around, access to the complete image set and a simple visual condition summary. Delivery is digital and designed to be fast.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Drone flights require suitable weather and safe operating conditions. If the weather is not suitable, we will rearrange the visit rather than rush a flight in poor conditions.
Do you inspect commercial or larger roofs?
Yes, but commercial properties are not offered automatic residential fixed pricing. For commercial units, industrial premises, blocks or larger roofs, please request a tailored fixed quotation.
